Nice shot, good location and comp. Did you have a polariser filter on? Because the reflections are a bit much and kind of ruin it for me... but maybe I'm weird. well, there's no maybe about it really
Also, I need to get a hold of some luuurrrvly cars to shoot too, my car's getting old now

when this came up on my feed i knew immediately it was about this photo because the reflections irritate the hell out of me too!
i assure you this was Hoya c-polarized to the max and then i took about 20% of the remaining reflections on photoshop... and LOOK how many remain! SUCH a damn curvy/shiny car... it really irritated me!

Ha, sounds like it had some kind of crazy ultra gloss on it. Ah well, if you find out how to minimise it, spread the word

Definitely one of top two favourites from the set. Although I do secretly wish the car was a bit further left in the frame. But it works well as it is too.

I can certainly agree with you about nudging the car to the left, although you only notice these things once you're back home! :/
As for it being one of the best.. bleh... way too much reflections bouncing off the bonnet for my liking. There's 40 in this set altogether.. I've tried to keep it tight but there's soooo many more I want to put up on dA!!

You could always *tweak* those with a little time, make them less prominent. I don't think people will complain about getting more, either.

Mm. I'm the polar opposite! I have thousands of shots that I could do, but I'm not going to because I want every shot to meet my level of quality. Which very few ever do.
