Well I finished that faster then expected. Guess I'm two for two this month!

Anyway, this is the second Extra Ranger I have designed for the Colab with Sentaibrave . This is Konchu NanaGo, who is based on a Stag Beetle. Now, I've had the idea for this guy ever sense Sentaibrave agreed to colab with me on the Insect Themed Sentai, and he was originally going to be a Black Ranger with Navy Blue highlights (think Dekamaster with a different shade of blue). However...Arachne Ranger happened, and I couldn't put two Black Rangers on the same team! So, after some color experimentation, I decided to go with a classic: the Silver Ranger. And I think it turned out beautifully.

For those who are curious: the Changer works by placing the Crystal/Amber thing into the port in the device, then pulling the gold ring towards the bottom, which causes the horns to pop up.

Now my favorite part of this Ranger isn't his color scheme, or his armor, or even his helmet. No, that honor would go to his Weapon: the Stag Slasher. I wanted too give him a weapon based on the Horns of a Stag Beetle, but I didn't want to just rip off Kamen Rider Gattack's Swords (two blades that combine to make a giant scissor weapon). That would by lazy. So instead, I drew up a big ass sword that splits into two. The resemblance too Stag Beetle Horns may not be perfect, but it is still a bad-ass looking weapon!

"Crushing beetle! Silver Insect Hero! Konchu NanaGo!"

As the battle between Rokkaku Sentai Konchuger and the Achidna Empire dragged out, the Achidna were slowly but surly gaining the upper hand, sending down stronger and stronger Monsters with each passing attack. Even with the addition of the Arachne Ranger to their forces, the battles only continued to grow more and more difficult. V'ates was beginning to grow nervous, he knew that if things kept going in this fashion the Earth would be lost. He started work on an Upgrade System too the Base Konchuger System in order to hep even the odds, but he was unable to find a way to do so without putting serious strain on the other's bodies, they were still only human after all. Just as he was about to give up, Ember alerted him to an anonymous transmission from Deep Space.
"Hold Tight. Help is on the way."
V'ates was confused, but disregarded the cryptic message as another Achidna attack began. And as he feared, it was an even stronger Achidna Solider. However, just as the fight was about to end in the Achidna's favor, a large silver Stag Beetle Mecha landed near by. Out of the vehicle came a new Silver clad, armored Konchuger, calling himself Konchu Nanago; who fought off the Achidna with relitive ease. After the fight, he properly introduced himself as D'vids, an old friend of V'ates who helped develop the Konchuger System,but presumed dead when V'ates evacuated the planet. D'vids explained how he survived, and that he was able to finish the Advanced Konchuger System before he left the planet. He quickly agreed too join the team, weather the others wanted him or not. Now that V'ates was reunited with his old friend, and access to the newly finished Advanced System, he knew he would be able to finish the Upgrade to the Konchuger System. The Achidna had no idea what they were in for now.
D'vids himself is around the same intelligence as V'ates. Though while V'ates is wise, collected and calm; D'vids is eccentric, quirky and a bit of a show off. While he is as dedicated too his new role as a protector of earth as the others are, he tends to have a bit more fun with it, and considers himself and Konchu IchiGo as friendly Rivals do to the fact that they both are themed around Beetles.

And that's about it for Konchu NanaGo here. Like with the Arachne Ranger, I'm assuming that Sentaibrave plans on doing his own images of this Ranger as well. And in response, I also plan on doing a full team shot in the near future.
