So it's been awhile since I've done something like this, and after seeing Patrick's latest design ( Nijikanger, Nakijin Umbra ), I wanted to try a similar texturing thing. No idea how he did his, so I just used some paint.net features and threw together this quick little test. Took about 10/15 minuets, so it didn't take any time away from commissions or anything.

Not as good as how his came out, but I thought it looked cool enough to upload. So have fun.
