Description
After quite a while a bigger personal picture
Practiced a bit on lineart to digital art technique. Took about 8 hours in total. The floating home base of the rising moon blade. Silently it approaches the target area carrying hundreds of ninjas towards their deadly silent work.

I like it a lot!
One small thing the fire ambers in the bottom left corner (if that's what they are) distract my eye away from the ship.
The ninja in the middle could be brought out a little more. I know he's a dark mysterious ninja but the moon light could hit him just right.
The rest of this piece is perfect and in only eight hours!!

sweet! i like how you've mixed in old school style japanese houses and city elements with the futuristic ship, its a very effective blend.
nice sense of environment as well, you have a good feeling of depth in this, if anything you could actually reinforce what's below the ship a bit more as it gets a bit murky around there. i like the breakup of the foreground elements as well, it really works well to have ninjas perching in the front and adds to the feeling of suspense as if theyre just scouts of a much larger war party that's about to launch an attack.
the way the moon is glaring out so brightly makes for a pretty intense atmosphere, i also like how all the little orange glows (im assuming theyre little bugs) are spread out all over the valley as it adds to the depth in the piece...if anything i feel there is a bit of a clash between the orange lights and the light of the moon, next time maybe make one or the other the stronger and not both as its almost like the two parts are competing for your attention.
i like how the movment of the ship has disturbed wildlife from their roosts, it helps to build up a sense of the wider world and makes you see the mountains and cliffs in a new light.
the waterfall on the left works well with the overall peice and balances out the 'full' right side with an focal interest on the left. if anything i think it could use a bit more movment, it seems unnaturally still for a piece of flowing water.
the clouds are gorgeously done, i like how you've given them this heavy and brooding feeling as it contributes to the overall mood of the peice.
Once again, awesome work, hope i didnt go overboard with the crit :S
