Here you can see the staff for my Tier 1 Druid cosplay.
And here is a little making off report:

This staff was my very first weapon. I had no idea how to realise it but I got up the nerve to do the first steps. I bought a wooden staff, began to model a lot of news paper balls fixing them with crepe tape and batched them into a form on the top of the staff. The tape helped me to model the right form, but I had to fix it with some cord I drafted trough the whole room. I finally started with the top layer made from paper machee. Again and again I built a new layer on top of it to get the right form and a unruffled face. I think there are about 10 packs of paper pachee on it so its weight is about 5 kilos or more. ^^
The crystal on the bottom is made out of some board triangles and were closed with a layer of newspaper. Yeah... It wasn't too difficult to make the staff, I only needed a lot of time because I didn't dry the paper machee with my hairdryer like I do now. My Tier 3 staff was much more complicated, but nevertheless I'm very proud of my work and love my little fatty snake baby! ^^
