Your color selection is fantastic. I love the balance of greens and pinks, especially in the face. I think your shadow-work on your figure is gorgeous, just really subtle while also being expressive with those purples against other unorthodox colors for her skin-tone. I really like the flower, as well, because the size of it is just so expressive. I think the main flaw with this piece is the large amount of empty space to the right. I see that there were textures added, and that certainly helps to break up the negative, but I almost want a few lines of text, as seen in her dress, to be mirrored in this negative space to help break it up. Overall it's beautiful, but very left-heavy. Aesthetically, though, this is a minor nitpick. This is lovely!

Thank you your so wonderful critique. I’m especially happy that you too were a bit put off by the heaviness of the left and the lack of much substance on the right. I thought a lot, a real lot, about this feature. Finally my husband (who, unlike me, has had years of formal art training) said he really liked that, so I stopped right there. I figured there would be people who liked it and those who did not, and am curipus to see how people react to it.

The art style feels pretty familiar, is that by someone I might have seen on dA? I love the sunny Mediteranean vibe.

I’ve had this image for so long! But it’s def not anyone from dA or I would have credited them. It’s just that I got stacks and stacks of paper so I just don’t recall. I am glad you like it though.
