I was trying new styles to draw and, who's better than the pretty little smart unicorn of My Little Pony? I don't know, maybe Fluttershy or Rarity. But Twilight is great too! And if you asking, yes, she has that face because I draw her in a very weird position.
Used Paint Tool Sai and Photoshop CS5. (<- yay! I upgrade! (?)). Hope you like it!

Anyway, very cute, though I can see where you might be having problems with the foreshortening and making her look like she is on her knees while in front view. Being unable to draw well myself, and also being not blessed with the knowledge of foreshortening, i may not be of much help in the matter.
