Story
The day ended with a glorious fanfare of rosy hues. The clouds were set afire by the sunset as the sun sank below the horizon and the world was blanketed in velvet night. As the clouds slowly lost their bright pink linings, a brilliant star appeared, its radiance glowing about it as it winked into the coming night. One creature watched this one of nature's many wonderful displays from where she paused in her travels as she approached a mountain pass.

The warm light touched her creamy fur, painting it a shade of pink. It was hard to believe that winter still lay heavily on the land, and thick ice covered the ground beneath her paws. The majestic creature raised her head and let out a long breath as a breeze ruffled her mane. She enjoyed these moments of solitude, alone with her thoughts and her wild surroundings and away from the pettiness of lesser Tokotas and their silly games.

She turned her gaze away from the beautiful spectacle and licked her long, wickedly sharp claws. Tonight was going to be a night for hunting, and she hoped to bring home a good bit of game before the night was through. Raising her nose to the skies, she took in a deep breath, then let it out in a long and mournful howl, the song of the hunt!
