I have become stupid, foolish and lost,
And this mess is all my own,
It's all my fault I didn't know it would cost,
Oh how long had I this fault condone.

Every breath I take I gasp for air,
The heartfelt brokenness does not dissipate,
Not with an apology that one would care,
Even the hardest do I try to date.

I feel slain inside,
Like a goat murdered for a great feast,
The raging storms do not subside,
I'm close to that of a beast.

These times continue to flow,
Though ghastly am I inside,
And my blood running as I go,
Yet my being would abide.
