Drawing of a pregnant female werewolf, proud of her son that is being carried in her
Just like always, another "mind assault" art idea that came to me and just got to draw it, took me a lil bit more since used watercolors just to test out how use them.
hope you guys like it.
materials:
-letter size bond paper (yeah i know its not a good idea to use watercolors on them but its what i got right now, will get thick paper later)
-prismacolor scholar pencils
-watercolors (cheap ones)
-2h hb for the sketch

I actually dont ysually envolve the in a history, but i will draw him in the next drawing, a friend requested me to draw her after the pregnancy, so Im including him and the pups in mater 2...

i got no drawing of them mating actually since this is the first drawing of her (still an annonimous shewolf) but in the future i think i will be doing a drawing of them two mating(mating like cuddling and hugging not like sexy time) since some people asked me for another drawing about her....
in the mean time i got another drawing, not about her but its the same kind of situation....

you mean the general public? I usually do it when no one is around except my mate, but I howl at all times I also whimper and growl and chirp a little. My mate is human but he understands the uniqueness of me being a humanoid wolf

Amazing work on fur, pic has certain calmness to it and is quite inspirational. It's good to see one among countless that isn't going straight into extreme and simply shows a pregnant werewolf, nothing more, nothing less.
If I may, the ground is kinda off. It has own structure and texture looking really well, but her pose doesn't reflect the bumpiness of terrain.

yes! i actually tryed to give it a quite and peaceful scene, i love the pregnancy theme, its just something i really like and catch my attention alot.
yeah, i did it too because there is alot of people doing drawings about bloated weman and sexual stuff, but didnt find something about pregnancy itself, the pure and beautiful way.
i really appreciate critiques like this.
i actually tryed in this drawing another way to make the ground, since i got some problems putting together the character and ground together, however, looks like this way, it helped but didnt quite make it totally.

I'm not really fond of the pregnant anthro art variety but she just looks so natural here instead of being bloated. Also I really like the way you've kept the fur colour transition without loosing it's texture ^^

I still feel annoyed by the fact that everytime i color something it end up looking dirty.....

looking dirty? like the color seems "dirty?" or not clear or pure? Β I have the same problem sometimes, especially if painting but here I couldn't notice that really
also there is just certain color mixes and colors that naturally seem dirty..like
yellow + black (especially light yellow), i prefer to use yellow + yellowish brown/orange/slight add of red Β to add the darker tone of "yellow"Β
white fur color is easy to make look dirty if you add too dark grey as the fur texture and shadow (happens to me too much xD) or if you try and add brown hint to the shading.. I prefer using slight blue tone on the shading when making pure snow white fur, if it is natural white fur more like vanilla, the shading looks nice if it has slight yellow/cream tone.
again.. too much text.. I need to learn how to shut up xDΒ
also, I like this work and I did not notice the "dirty look" on it.

oh waw, thats actually some really usefull tips !!!
i will make a copy of the tips and keep em(if you dont mind of course), just for the sake of putting it next time i make a drawing and dont forget anything like most of the time do.....
i actually use the black pencil, specially for shadows..... ans actually i find my self more in the "not to do list" that you just did and in the good one...
and no, you dont need to shut up with me...(Do people shut you up often? o.0 )
