"Oka lay in the grass, looking up at the clouds with a huge smile. They were puffy silver lined and white today, as if they too were enjoying the gorgeous weather. This was just to be expected of a late summer day. She didn’t know how to exactly express it but she loved the feeling, the warm sunkissed fresh air and the rich smell the land had to offer this time of year. It was definitely a comforting change from the bareness of winters chill. This wasn’t one of Oka’s first summers, infact this was the second she’d witnessed in her life. She had always marvelled with such a curiosity that the land changed and what wonders each passing season brought and possessed as a gift for her to cherish until the next turn of season was presented.

The sweet musky smell of grass tickled her nose with hints of lupin sage and lavender. All of these grew wild in the hills close to her owners Cottage and stable dotting the land with hues of exuberant purples and dazzling flowers, it was certainly a delicious sight to behold. Oka wasn’t like her other pack mates Weyekin and Wahauts whom always frolicked trough the fields of lupin like wild black tornados, ripping the delicate purple flowering plants from their firm hold in the soil. She was shy, gentle like the blossoms themselves always perplexed by their barbarian antics, what was the point of running around like goons? Wahauts caught Oka glancing his direction, with a slight movement he puffed out his chest fluffed his tail in effort to make himself look bigger then he already was putting effort forward to impress her. If he had written an essay to try to impress her he would have received a fat F because she turned her nose up at him.

Ares couldn’t help but snicker at his great grandsons attempts of attracting the opposite sex, It was what you would call quite trial and error much like Ares when he was a pup that age. Ares may be a grandsire but one wouldn’t say he was exactly old only being the ripe “old” age of 6 which was still considered quite young for a Tokota."
