They're the only shoes I'll wear, for the most part. I've been wearing them since I was a freshman in high school,and I just graduated a few months ago. I'm a greaser at heart <3 Haha. I dressed up as Johnny for a school spirit day, it was so much fun. Hah.

Aww, you should have! People are stupid if they make fun of you for it. Greasers = amazing. I've been reading/watching the Outsiders since I was 13 years old. And I'm almost 18. It's my favorite book/movie. I could recite most of both of them. xD

Haha, yeah, I was in the 8th grade. I fell in love with it. I've read all of S.E. Hinton's books now. That Was Then, This Is Now. Rumble Fish. Tex. Taming the Star Runner. Some of Tim's Stories. She's my all time favorite author. I re-read her books constantly. They're motivational, and inspirational. I love them. All her characters are amazing <3 I seriously don't know why anyone would make fun of someone for loving The Outsiders. It's a literary classic in my opinion.

I've read all of them too! I really like That Was Then, This Is Now. But ti was kinda strange (in a good way). They are really inspirational and motivational, and I love her characters too! I was surprised that Ponyboy was in That Was Then, This Is Now. Didn't expect that.
And it really is classic, a lot of people know about it, so why would it be bad to be a fan of it?

That Was Then, This Is Now was the only book I've ever thrown at the ground when I finished it. My teacher jumped when I did. It was kind of funny. Yeah, she actually pulls a few characters into different novels. It's great. Like...you know the hitchhiker in Tex? The one that gets shot down by the cops? It's Mark from That Was Then, This Is Now. And he's Tex's half brother. It's kinda crazy. Some people are just jerks. I try not to let them get to me. It isn't worth it.

I didn't know he was the hitchhiker! That's awesome! That's awesome! And it's not I was disappointing with the ending of That Was Then, This Is Now, but just confused a little.
And I tryto ignore them, but it kinda make me sad.
The funny part, the people making fun of me and my friends were comparing it to Justin Bieber. NO. Just NO.

Yeah, I read that in an interview and I was like "No way!" So I had to go back and re-read that part in Tex. And once I did, there was no doubt in my mind that it was Mark. I wasn't disappointed per say, I just...wasn't expecting the ending to be so...sad. I loved it, though. I've read the book at least seven times now, and I can't imagine the ending any other way. Yeah, I used to care a little more...I guess I gave up on people like that. I found my real friends in high school, and I started not caring. And yeah, that's just a no. You do not compare The Outsiders to Justin Beiber. It is not the same thing. Haha.

I know, just the other day I was going to buy the book! (I already own The Outsiders) And it was petty heartbreaking...
Yeah, well now since i'm moving up a grade and really don't give two sh*t's about what people say to me, I still obsess over The Outsiders to this day.
And I told them exactly what you just typed. And there like "He's way better." And I just sat there laughing me ass off right in front of him. My friends joined in too! ^_^
