Art Trade with my senpai *Ryo-Thae (I'm still waiting for mine uwu)
I didn't know there was a scanner here at province, so I scanned this immediately before I sleep XD (2 days ago)
Not sure what's her personality, so I just did this pose thing XD (I would take a better effort if she's a yandere x3)
Anyways this is Sanyu Lee, btw she's cute senpai! x3

This really is beautiful. It's a detailed, proportionate drawing with a light color palette that seems to sway in my vision. Her outfit is cute, especially the furry collar. I love the fluffing and line-work on it. Her face, manga-wise, is gorgeous. I love how some shading can delineate a nose, a mouth, and blush. The eyes have lots of circular lines swooping in, well, circles. The lighting in them is my favorite part of the drawing. If anything about the face, the eyebrows are a little high, and so are the ears. The pigtails are nice, one seems to be in a heart shape, fitting in with the feel of the drawing. The shading is lovely and meticulously done. I wish they would splay out a little more maybe, to make the drawing more alive. What really makes this drawing original is the color. One side, as the drawing is named, is the color of cheese, then switches to an icier blue. (Maybe showing the girl's personality?) Purple oozes here and there, which I really like. The only major critique I have is that it's on the light side. The coloring, while angelic, could be darker so I could see it better, given what a wonderful set of colors were chosen.

I do believe that the purples you are seeing here and there in the lighted area are really just the artist's blues being thrown in to create contrast so you can see it better. The same goes for the color choice, it may be for personality, but I think it is also because complementary colors like red and green, yellow and purple, and orange and blue as seen here are the best combinations for catching a person's eye, which it has obviously done here. I agree they should have created more contrast with each color in and of itself. Otherwise, this piece is definitely a beautiful one.
