But seriously this is fantastic. Love the simple background with the rays of sun and the detail of your portrait. Even down to muddy shoes... heh.
I used to complain about hoodies, as used to get eejits come into work with hoodies and cause trouble. But now I have one and love it....

No problem. I only did German at secondary school as not a mainstream taught language in UK when I was young (a very very very long time ago lol). We had to learn French... even though at the time Germany was the main finaancial institution.
Wa an extra pain for me as I would probably never use french, and I have all but forgotton it apart from words like Merde lol, and would rather of learned German so I could have had conversations with my grandmother and her german friends.... which a lot were over here. I would of probably visited Germany more often. Would of loved to have visited more of the old East Germany as to me although people had hardships seems far more charming to me than the west (which I also loved). Just the people seemed to be a bit more laid back and friendly to me in the east, while the west was more hectic (though still friendly). I think german reputation for percieved abruptness and precision comes from west
