Whew..Finished this just now. I have to say, i'm quite happy with it.
A common theme that shows itself in numerous medias.. I think it's important to realize that technology and nature are just as alike as they are different. The complexities of DNA vs. the natural aging process of a computer.
They are one in the same.
Took about 3 hours in GIMP. Critiques and comments would be appreciated as always.

I love the lightning-ish veins in the Dragon's wings; little things that the picture would still be mostly the same without, but you stick them in anyhow and they look awesome.
Now, I've been gone a while. I've gotta catch up an all of the rest of your stuff. Hopefully something else as awesome as this will be hiding in there somewhere. ^w^

Looks awesome, but, and I know you're gonna hate me for this, but this one too could use more light and dark effects. Those lightning strikes should propably cast some really bright flashes at the dragon and make for some really nice shadows as well.
Overall it's great, but as allways, it can be better. You keep up the good work.

I think people that more likely apreicate this pictular kind of scene will look in these area's rather then the normaly slightly cutsie/warm themed in anime/manga
