Blastoise is such an awesome Pokemon and is a strong contender for my favorite from Gen 1. Who doesn't love a dual cannon wielding tortoise?! I have this lined up on my wall next to perlers of Venusaur and Charizard. I posted the Venusaur sprite a while back but haven't gotten around to putting up the Charizard just yet.The sprite is from Pokemon White/Black 2 and is property of Nintendo, as are all of the Pokemon perlers that I've posted.
The bead sprite is composed of 2,625 perler beads and takes about 3 hours to make, including ironing time. It measures approximately 12.5" wide by 12" tall. A bead count is included below if you want to try to tackle the project yourself! You'll need at least 9 pegboards, an iron, and some non-stick parchment paper.
