Description Finally managed to finish my 'combo'. It's a M26 Pacific Car & Foundry Co. TR-1 armoured tractor with M15 40-ton trailer - or M25 Dragon Wagon, but in the colours of the Belgian Army (which had 36 of them in use between 1952 and 1970). The 'heavy metal' on the back is an M26A1 Pershing, also in the colours of the Belgian Army - Belgium received 423 of them under the MDAP-agreements from 1951 on.

The 'Dragon Wagon' is the 1/72 Academy kit; the M26A1 Pershing the 1/72 Trumpeter kit.

These two kits look perfect together!

And I never realized just how BIG the Pershing was... It's pretty much as large as an M47 or M48 Patton, and yet it fits so nicely on the trailer.

Very nice!

Whitewalls on a military vehicle, that cracks me up everytime when I see that.

Well, I know it looks weird, but it was accurate. The model was made after a picture of a Dragon Wagon during a army parade on our National Day... and it's something different from the hundreds of WWII-Dragon Wagon models around. :3

I didn't say that it was wrong.

I know. :3

Still haven't gotten round to its "companion piece", though - a Diamond T with Sherman Firefly. Once, maybe...

So thats the tank that was going on there. . .Nice clean build.

Looks huge for a 1/72 kit.

Thanks!

And yeah, it is pretty big for a 1/72 kit. I should have taken a shot of it with some references to give you an idea. A Jeep looks positively tiny next to it...
