Little did I know when I took this picture back in March...

Siemens Desiro-ML unit 08172 passes Limal while running the S20 Leuven-Ottignies service on railway line 139.

About four months after I took this picture, on July 15th 2021, the Dyle river which runs alongside the railway line burst its banks during the catastrophic floods that hit Belgium and severely damaged parts of railway line 139 between Sint-Joris-Weert and Ottignies, with the worst damage to the infrastructure occuring around Limal. Even so, the railway operator NMBS/SNCB and the infrastructure company Infrabel hope to have services restored on this line by August 2nd.
