Description
The Sargonian knight could not believe what was happening. His armor, his warhorse, his heavy blade, it had all amounted to nothing! The Werewolves had overwhelmed his patrol, in mere moments a grey streak had hit him, throwing him out of his saddle. Crashing onto the ground, the knight was helpless, having lost his sword and helmet. Numbed, he looked on as his fellow knights around him were massacred by the Werewolves, creatures far more agile than heavily armoured knights on horseback. Especially the sight of a young werewolf girl astounded him. It was almost impossible to believe such ferocity, anger and strength could reside in such a slender frame!
Defeated by feral demonic creatures, most armed only with a dagger and their own claws and fangs! His honor would never recover from this!
As the fighting died down, the knight saw how the Werewolf girl approached him, holding a knife in her hand.
“I yield”, he yelled, unable to reach his sword and injured from his fall.
“Yield?” the girl growled as she punched him in the face. “No yield for knights or slavers. Only death!”
The knight screamed in mortal fear, as the dagger came down, again and again and again…

No, she looks angry and savage here! Intensely so. Actually, she looks reasonably big and strong relative to the knight, as she doesn't wear armor, or much of anything else!? Very strong arms and shoulders, all the better to plunge a knife into her foe!
No word that this was literally one of her oppressors. Was this really just a random knight?
Also, is this the first year of the 2nd War of the Power? Without her headdress, I'm thinking that this takes place before Pumori becomes an Alpha? That period before her tenure as an Alpha is important too. Not much time has passed since her slavery?

Pumori's doing a great job at downsizing the Sargonic armies! Think about all of the job positions she's eliminated!
But yes, Pumori is very much angry - the scars of her slavery are still very fresh in her mind here, and to make things even worse, it's only been a matter of months since Freya was maimed by the Sargonic knights in one of the many border skirmishes! So it's all still very, very raw indeed!
For her, the knights represent all that is evil about Sargos - marked with the coat of arms of the kingdom, the public face of those she hates so intensely. She literally knows no mercy for them.
This battle actually takes place in the sixth year of the Second War of the Power - Pumori has been leading her pack for only mere months, and it's only a little over two years since her return to Polforia. She isn't wearing her ceremonial headdress, as it is too much of a give-away who is leading the pack. An unassuming girl is so much less of a target than a clearly marked Alpha...
