Description 'Spot', the other cat from two doors down, waits for the birds in our garden to come.

On a side-note, the birds in our garden do not like peanut-butter at all (just six tiny pecks in two months' time, while I had to refill the nuts and suet balls every five days...) >.>

A couple of minutes later, the blighter was IN the tree, amidst the bird feeders. >.>

Sadly, he scarpered before I could take a picture of that... T_T

I've spotted the other cat often seated at the bottom of the tree, as if she's expecting the birds will land when she's awaiting them... >.>

Do you think these cats may be casing the joint before moving in on you?

One of them actually put her head inside a couple of days ago, before walking off.

She didn't quite come inside yet, she just...  looked around, so it seemed. >.>

Well, if you're using a commercial peanut butter, it probably contains salt which is definitely bad for the birds, and quite possibly sugar which isn't good for them.

It's actually specific peanut butter for birds.  Which makes it all the more puzzling. >.>

I didn't even know that there was such a thing, but most UK species seem to prefer seeds and/or lard balls to peanuts based on rate of consumption.

Well, it was the first - and last - time I would try this.

I'll probably retrofit the peanutbutter holder so it can hold a seed ball or something similar. >.>

Peanut butter is really big in the Netherlands (it's a WWII thing), but not at all in Belgium.  And it seems the same is true for our birds. >.>

OK, that's really wild.  The entire country doesn't really dig peanut butter, not even the birds XD
