Since 3.0 came out I've been really thinking about the theory that the Rebuilds are somehow continuous from the original series. Which I think given the bandaging on 3.0 Asuka's plugsuit and the damage from the MP Evas she sustained in End of Evangelion is rather intriguing. I thought that it would be interesting to pose her with a MP Lance of Longinus as a sort of homage to the possible repetition of the Evangelion franchise.Background is a screenshot from Evangelion 1.0.
