Personally I've always preferred LuNa myself, I think Sanji's better suited for the leviathan of jailbait that is Shirahoshi. I mean he turned to STONE over this woman, that's gotta count for something, right?

Well I think it doesn't really matter which pairing we like, I mean, Oda-sensei's just dull in romance stuff, he won't pair any chara seriously, though that's also one of the charm of his story...

Well that's true, Oda has very little experience with the things from the mushy perspective.
But he IS one of the few mangakas out there who can use the act of subtlety, wisely(rubber pirate beating up super humans, cat men, twelve foot tall marines, giants, and fish people aside, of course) . Pretty much like Bleach, nothing seems to be truly happening now, but surely around the end when worst comes to worst, and we can actually physically SEE the end of One Piece without crazy speculation or a telescope, will these pairing conflicts of this franchise will be resolved.

Not for me, because to me, a good story is at its finest only when it reaches its conclusion. Which is why I am such a huge Fullmetal fan.

I highly suggest Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, follows the plot of the manga, the first 13 episodes may be nigh-identical to the 1st anime, but it's worth it to see the epic (yet perfectly contained) awesomeness that follows. Some of these examples being ninjas, a walking black hole, a kickass general with a sword, and Roy Mustang, because..... .....because Roy Mustang.

I'm don't really like LuffyxAlvida either... the truth is i argued by myself whether or not to put that pairing as well... so far I don't see anyone into it though -_- so oh well, I just thought it's interesting /X)

Yeah, plus look at the mortality rate in One Piece. Only Ace and Whitebeard died in real time. So many characters should have died in the series (Zoro, Gin, Eneru, Luffy, Spandam, etc.) yet they never do.
