Full view if you'd like to see the details.Finally done. Mr Alex Schnider... another character from No Clue [my comic in development]. He is... I will not disclose any more information. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. Not too bad... XD
Anyways. This is open to comments, and I won't say anything about it myself.
Painter 9, about 7 hours.
EDIT: This was NOT stolen from Clover. It is my original idea, and mine only. Just because they are mechanical wings, it doesn't mean anything. Firstly, the design is nothing like the wings in Clover and secondly... they are not really present it the story. The guy is a robot, yes. I haven't decided whether or not to include wings and that sort of thing... but yes. I'm sure if you looked at other paintings in my gallery you would see that I draw plenty of metal wings.
Another thing - H.U.M.A.N. is the name of one of the organisations that Alex is part of. Not an attempt to make a word look fancy. =/

Actually, it's -very- different. Both the story -and- the character design.

well, from my perspective it looks a lot like clover. I don't want to argue but really what you did was put mechanic clover like wings on bat wings; and the whole being human concept is rather clover, too. just from what I can tell from the title and this drawing. Not to try and start an argument, but if more people than I think this, say if you get it published, for example, you may run into a lot of issues there. If the story is not at all like it I aplogize. I am going from first impressions, as you yourself said you don;t care to disclose anymore about it.

no offense but that makes me downright angry. You got a freakin' favorite. I've been trying ot get some level of recognition on this site and haven't got any. If oyu got a favorite (and knowing deviant, you're sure to get more) then surely your art has something people like. I just really don't like it when people put themselves down like that. the piece you did that I saw was good; but don't try and pass off the pathetic card.

sorry but that reeeaally got to me. these favorites come so easily to those who draw anime or anime influenced stuff, and here I am barely getting one view a piece. e.e; that's the only reason I was upset.

It is frightening; what is most firghtening about it is that these people upload pictures of their cats and crappy doodles. >.> I have really wanted to start a site where people had to audition; but that's just my relatively totalitarian side of me talking. But on the other hand it could be a site devoted to art critque and advancement which is what this site used to be before everonye was only out for comments, favorites, and those who said anything optherwise were downtrodden by the masses who follow the favorites. >.<
