Beautiful done, the character is faultless the skin and colouring is a master piece. My only criticism is the background, it looks like dirty paper you have rub out around the characters shape. It gives nothing and you have done better. The bit between the leafs and shoulder that just adds to the rushed look. It's a shame to destroy such a good piece of art with a rushed and thoughtless background. Maybe learn to step away if you are tired or want to finish, or do a save point so you can go back. However it's your choice to post, and you thinking this is perfect, well I find that very sad. You could have used the shadow of the leaves on the wall behind even those not shown as the plant is a climber.Β

consider this; i did it because i liked it. i did it on purpose because i liked it. in my opinion it adds to the piece, as if it didnβt i would have changed it. i donβt think itβs perfect, my art isnβt perfect but i enjoyed creating it. just because you canβt find meaning or joy in it doesnβt mean it lacks. and i decided it was finished, i didnβt want to go back to it or change a thing because i like it the way it is.
