YOOO IT'S YELLOW DIAMOND WHAT WHAT!?!...yeah I don't know either XD
Also I can't believe I haven't posted any Steven Universe art yet on here???? I need to draw more of that stuff, Undertale's not the only fandom I'm in lol.
So I was trying something a little new with this piece where I drew above the line art layer to add details instead of below that layer to see how it would turn out, and I'm kind of liking it!
Also I'm trying to add more details into my art. Originally there wasn't any red AT ALL in this picture but it felt kinda plain so I did the red lighting on the bottom to make it more interesting, as well as adding the diamonds all around the picture just because why not. Lemme know what'cha think!

Like the red shading just looks so natural and realistic and somehow it just looks so unified in a way that I've never been able to acheive and I just really wanna steal your skills

Well, I remember learning somewhere how red shading tends to go really well with yellow lighting, and that just kinda stuck with me I guess?? And since this was yellow diamond I thought “Hey, some yellow lighting would go well with her since the colors will match” and then I remembered the red shading thing and just did that.
Also DUDE WHAT’CHU MEAN??? YOU’VE ALREADY GOT SO MUCH TALENT AS IS AND THERE’S NOWHERE TO GO BUT UP MY DUDE
Seriously though, it’s entirely possible if you just keep trying and finding new ways to improve so you can push past your limits. I wasn’t born already knowing how to draw the way I do, I had to practice and build up my skills over time before I could be able to draw this way. It just takes some time, patience, and a lot of art tutorials. :3 (and I mean a LOT of tutorials lol)
