Kevin really got me excited about Game of Thrones and I absolutely loved Margaery the more I got to know her character. A massive perk for me also was that Natalie Dormer plays Margaery in the show and I have the biggest girl-crush on her. So, I set out to make the best Margaery Tyrell costume my abilities could muster in honor of this awesome George R. R. Martin character.Photo by Bentpic5

Hi there! Thank you very much. I bought it from an eBay seller that unfortunately shut down. I was very sad because I wanted to buy a second Margaery wig just in case and it was gone! ;_;! I essentially sprayed, blow-dried, and teased the wig fibers until the hair looked like that and used a clip instead of a ponytail. A clip will give it more fullness.

What is so extreme or even rude about thinking you look like a mom unless you maybe think by mom I mean old lady...but I totally don't so just know I meant no harm or ill will!

This was ALL meant to be a simple critique and not some unwanted negativity but then a critique can highlight negative points as well; you also have this look about you here that kinda seems like reluctance to me but it's proly just you being in character I wouldn't know since I don't watch Game of Thrones!

Its very evident that you put the time and effort into your costume. It doesn't hurt either that you have such an uncanny resemblance to the actual character in the show.

How long have you been in cosplay? Obviously it dates back a while as I look back through a few of your pictures. Do you have an absolute favorite all time character that you've been? Is there someone you want to be that you've yet roleplay?

For being a simple costume, this is wonderfully elegant. I really love the wig! I'd add boning to the top, though; keeping the seams straight makes costumes look both more well-made and more flattering. Also, not sure you're wearing one? But look for a deep v or a U-bra. It's a bra that dives really low in the center, so you can get a little support and, more importantly, don't have to worry about nip slips--most of them even have pockets for inserts, if you like.

I hadn't thought of adding boning to the vest, but I certainly will now! Yay no buckling! And no, I'm not wearing one in this photo. Do you recommend any particular brands? I have one but it didn't go low enough and I am looking to invest in a better one.

Hrm. The one I had I bought from VS, but not sure it'll go this low...I know I've seen them, though. D: Wish I could remember where! Can always add those stick-on Nu Bras at a clever angle, at least. They stayed on me, and I'm a 32D.

I'd recommend a strapless set of silicone "bra" cups, which you can get on ebay, if the u-bra doesn't work out!
