He watched his home grow from middle-of-nowhere to industrialized town, and how its modest population has struggled with the sudden privatization of natural resources. His strong ties to the locals and ability to network with new settlers has allowed him to remain a powerful figure in the community, though he maintains the outward appearance of simply a kindly old man, running a storage service.

He absolutely loves Bora to pieces and wishes she would come home more often, but it seems their relationship has become strained over the years...
