I once read about a mould detecting company which uses GSDs as their "noses" when they detect houses. The owner of the company said that German Shepherds are the best breed for the purpose because they're so eager, intelligent and have "easily readable facial expressions".
If I take beer after sauna, and my dog comes around and smells the beer this is exactly what he looks like. "Yuck, how can you drink that horrible stuff."
