Well, here's my first real drawing of Xaldin. (I seem to be posting my pictures in the wrong order on when I made them ^_^; )Anyway, I just felt like drawing him since he's a new fandom of mine. (darn kingdom hearts, it catches even the toughest fan's attention)
I was kind of hard drawing him in a more realistic(?) fashion, or at least the way he looks in the game.
Probably the most time consuming part was his hair. I couldn't really figure out to color it to make it look like dreads until I got half way through coloring them.
I can say it's interesting and challenging drawing him, but I did enjoy doing most of it.
Side note:
People keep asking my why I like Xaldin... do I really have to explain it? Many of us know why we like Xaldin (least the Xaldin fans do). Those that ask me don't like him because of his so called 'creepy and ugly sideburns'. O_o;Β :sigh: The muttonchops are one of many, MANYΒ reasons why his fans like/love him!

Gorgeous amazing job! Your shading is wonderful ^^
His hair is a pain in the neck to figure out how to shade, I know the pain XD
All I can say crit-wise is to work more on male anatomy. His chest, though loverly done, looks kinda small and Xal is not a small man.
Also your inking lines could be a little cleaner.
Yea I don't get why people ask why we like Xaldin. Maybe its because so many people have a hard time fighting him its translate to hate for him. Have to admit, when you fight him and he summons those lances its a 'D8' moment XD Personally the only problem I've had fighting him is just that :C I don't like hurting him *sniffle*
Love everything about him, even his english voice who is played by someone from the movie National Treasure XD

Thanks for the critique. This was my first drawing of Xaldin and it's an unusual angle for me to draw someone in. Plus I had only so much space to draw him in and thus is anatomy is quite correct. I'm kind of sad because of it because I'm usually very good with male anatomy. This is just one of those off pictures. And it makes me even more sad that it had to be Xaldin.
