Oh.. my... god. Thank you thank you thank you! This is one of the most detailed and informative tutorials I have ever seen. The pictures help so so much and are really helpful, not useless at all. The overall look of the tutorial is well planned and quite cute. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. Thank you again for sharing your awesome techniques with us but, maybe you could have included some things for more beginning photographers, who have different cameras. Also, you could have chosen to include some variations in there with maybe some different plants? Overall, great tutorial.

First time I write a critique on a tutorial x)
Firstable, I wanna thank you so much for that amazing tutorial you've done.
It's really more clear now, how you do your amazing pictures.
I really love the idea and the concept of the dandelion/drops photos and here's an amazing tutorial very clear and detailled, you took the time to explain us e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/>
But maybe you should have explained us how to do if we don't have the same lenses as you (my case), but that's really good ^^
And I let you know I'm gonna do some pics like these one in the future x'D

Thank you so much for your critique !
And i am sorry, but i don't know if photos like this are possible without a dslr.
With a normal camera you can't focus small things like dandelion seeds~
( at least that was the case with my old camera )

Once spring & summer come around so I can get the dandelion seeds, I'm definitely going to have to try this!
I wonder if I could do it with other types of plants...

Thanks!

Thank you for making this tutorial! I also didn't know there were close up filters for your camera. I really love taking macro pictures, but I don't want to spend too much money on a lens... So thanks for letting me know that there's a cheaper alternative! :3

Well they grow everywhere in germany ( in summer ) But i don't know if they grow in the desert...most likely not
But maybe you can use other plants or objects

FABULOUS! Thank you so much for posting this! I've been very curious about your work and I'm very impressed with this tutorial. It is well written and your photos illustrate it beautifully.

And your English is excellent! (Especially considering I only know a few words of German ... and a couple of those are curse words. )

I am glad that you think so.
Thank you And you don't have to know German, it's not a important language. But english is the world language so i had ( and still have ) to study it in school since 4th grate....that makes 8 years now

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Barn0wl In reply to Kara-a [2012-12-03 06:02:56 +0000 UTC]

Yes, your English is excellent! I don't even detect an accent! Seriously, I probably wouldn't have known the difference if you hadn't pointed it out. My Grandmother & Grandfather were German (though from Russia, families were from the German Colonies along the Volga ... but that's a long story). Miss Grandma's cooking.
