Originally Kyrie was supposed to have most of Nero's dialogue in this scene, but I last-minute decided to cut her out because I was intimidated by the number of characters I'd have to juggle in a single scene, and also because I would have to make the scene itself longer to explain her presence.
Of course, then I ran into the problem of having her in the final scene abruptly, with little to no context as to her presence in the fan comic... OTL Ah, well! So it goes!

So happy you've updated this. In a way, this is what I want DMC5 should be based on. Dante and Vergil going to hell while Nero takes care of Devil May Cry. Well....IF he does but we'll see in August.

Ahhh, it would be awesome if DMC5 had a plot similar to this, or, at least, involved Vergil in some shape way or form that wasn't utterly uninspired like the Special Edition. *wistful sigh*

Spoiler alert, in vergil's ending in special edition it kinda showed that he had a different shadow something that sorta looks like nero's dt I think ya might wanna give it a look

Yeah, I gave it a gander! To be very honest, I'm terribly disappointed there wasn't more meaty cutscene content (esp. where Vergil's concerned), but at least we got a couple. The DT shadow makes me think the Yamato really does have Vergil's spirit and power, like a devil arm! It causes Nero's natural demon to look similar to Vergil's, like how equipping certain Devil Arms alters Dante's devil trigger form in the games.

and maybe that would be the reason nero's dt manifests as an aura instead of an actual demon form
