During a quick glance around your gallery this photograph immediately stood out for me. Surely this is the Marie Celeste of abandoned hotels! "Dinner is served... oh sod it let's go".
I'm not always a fan of black and white (shameful I know) but in this case it had to be. This picture reminds me of the horror movies of James Whale as well as the stories of Dickens and M.R. James.
My only gripe; I can't enlarge it to get a good look at that freaky looking painting on the wall.

thanks for your comment! but i canΒ΄t enlarge that version, iΒ΄m sorry. the wall shows a scene in a forest with some people standing right in the middle of some huge trees.

OMG. Is there plans of restoration? Why would it be left like this? In America that place would be gutted and sold at antique fairs in a heartbeat or squatted in and graffiti spayed on everything. This is just so cool!
