Description Now this took long to finish!! This is a first design for Raine, my Anima Beyond Fantasy character. She might change in the future, I don't know. Also I totally made up those clothes cuz she's supposed to be wearing a cardigan or something like that as a shield but she's not.

Soooo yeah. Here she is.

Also her hair might grow if I feel like drawing long hair, who knows ´ u `

She's fun to mess around with though, I have so much fun roleplaying in uni~

Well so yeah, hope you like it ^ u ^

I'm a player/GM in training in an Anima group myself and I'm curious what class is she?

Ah!! sorry I didn't see this before oh my god

She's an acro warrior! best class if you're too lazy to do magic, to be honest. Kind of a crystal canon tho; she's really fast and really strong but her defense is also pretty weak so when she does get hit it's a disaster ha ha ha '''

but hey it's my favourite kind of character, you can get really good stats with good dice rolls and a bit of experience ´v´

What do you play as?

No worries about the response time I'm pretty chill.

As far as what I play I am currently playing a necromancer, though I have also played as a taoist, ranger, warlock and an acro warrior.

I'm becoming quite attached to my necromancer though my favorite character is still my acro warrior.

She started out as this really naive and idealistic warrior empath who's duty was to bring balance and peace to people, but after a few run ins with some rather evil people and being experimented on by a slave owner her viewpoint changed. Right now she is an agent of the Selene and she ruthlessly hunts anyone associated with the slave trade as part of a personal vendetta. On the job she is heartless and cruel, to those she considers good people she is gentle and kind, to her Sisters in the Selene she is like that adorable little sister that gets flustered no matter how many times you nibble her ears in public or read one of her journal entries to the young agents in training as a bed time story.

Overall she is quite fun to play since her skills as an acro warrior mixed with the ki abilities the Selene taught her make her unbelievably mobile, and then couple that with her powers as an empath, dreams of her past life as a Sylvain warlock, her decent skills in subterfuge and the fact that she has the support of the Selene as well as it's enemies. And you end up with a character that promises many interesting sessions.

ooh that sounds really cool! I stopped playing with this character a long time ago but then we started playing another long campaign in my flat and I got another acro warrior, partly based on that first one (who i only played for a few games) and kept playing her for about... two years now? Needless to say I'm completely in love with her and her max speed and the fact that in two yeas of game only one bad guy has been able to hit her because she's all evasion and attack.

She started out as this ruthless mercenary working solo looking for some guys to kill them as a part of her personal vendetta too and ended up stuck in this team of goofs who ended up being like her second family, and it's always so much fun to play with them.

But I think that's what happens when you play a long time with a character? you become so attached to them - a few months ago my friend's character died after a battle trying to protect mine and we all cried buckets while playing the game.

What's your favourite species? Because I'm all in for Tuan Dalyrs.

hmmm I'm not really sure if I could nail down a favorite species but I am fairly partial to the Sylvain, though I also like the D'Anjayni and Vetala.

And as far as I see it if you don't feel emotionally attached to your character... you aren't playing them right. During the campaign my acro warrior made her debut in I ended becoming so invested in her that I would often find myself gritting my teeth in anger or trying to hold back tears as she struggled with her personal quest while trying to help her new found friends. And then when the campaign came to an end the party split and everyone went their separate ways and my character more or less had a complete emotional breakdown as she watched the only people who had ever been her friends walk away, while roleplaying this breakdown my voice got shaky and a few times I actually choked up. Fortunately for her when she decided to stop at a manor owned by an acquaintance to rest for a while before resuming her travels one of the other party members found her and informed her, "You will follow me on my journey for a while and I am going to fix you... You don't have a choice in this matter get packed."

I don't usually let people in real life know how into the game I get... since most of them would just look at me funny. I mean it seems kinda funny for a 22 year old man who is an expert in wilderness survival and studies end of the world survival and military tactics as a hobby to admit that he almost cried when his female role play character had her heart broken.

Oh my god - I get you though, so many tears were spilled in that game, though since we play irl there's no way we can hide them, so anyone seeing us from the outside could've seen a group of 21-22 y-o vet students crying around a table over roleplay characters. We all got really into the game though so we normally cried at the same time during very emotional or tensioning moments.

I don't know, I love anima, what can I say. We're gonna start a new game now, we're looking for ways to play online, and as soon as we figure that out I'm gonna be mastering so wish me luck!

My group actually does meet online and it works out pretty well. We use Skype to talk and we use a website called Roll20 for our maps and dice rolls, it also has a way to send secret messages to people to help with things like asking the GM if you pickpocketed another player. Other cool features include a jukebox, journal system for keeping notes and there are even integrated character sheets. So as a GM you could assign each player a journal and character sheet both have a player section and a GM section that only you can see for note taking.

Roll20 is completely free, easy to sign up for and easy to use. It has served me quite well as both a GM and player, every time I log in there is a thing in the corner that tells me how many hours I have spent in Roll20 and so far it is up to 1,547 hours of playing/ toying with features.

That being said good luck with GMing I can tell you from experience that it can be nerve racking when you first get started, but it does get better once you get the hang of it. And if you ever need a second opinion on a GM issue, help with Roll20 or even just want another GM to talk hypothetical scenarios or ideas with, feel free to get ahold of me. I am always willing to help another Anima group since it helps keep the community going strong.

It always impresses me how tight knit and diverse RP communities can be, for instance our GM lives in Great Britain while the rest of us live in either New York or Texas.

Ooh wow that's so cool! I'll definitely give that a try òvó
We're all based in Spain but I'd loooove to play with other people from other places. If you ever need an extra player for a game let me know! ;>

Bueno, me encantan tus dibujos *-*! has mejorado mucho en poco tiempo *U*!
