Yep. Back when Paraphillia was in its early months, it was meant to have an actual linear story and was overall darker and violent. Most of the characters are explicitly said to be personas of many fetishes, kinda like some deity. Ex. Arima is podophillia. Gale and Arima (Fregata didn't exactly exist back then) weren't the only main characters; the other main characters are named Net, Lawana, and Tallulah, an outcast trio. There was a diabolical villain who has some envy towards the big-breasted queen (the "original Fregata"), and wanted to spread some chaos by manipulating some of the other personas to do her work (tentacle, gore, etc.).

Basically God of War mixed with Yoshi and DK Country.

Of course, all of that was dropped and became the Paraphillia many of you know now:

-Paraphillia is now just your typical wacky island and Gale is the main discoverer.
-Paraphillia is now named that because Gale didn't know about the word paraphilia before and lacks the fetish themed enviroments for the most part.
-Paraphillia has this "sandbox"/episodic type of story.
-The tone is now overall lighthearted, with the God of War inspiration dropped completely.
-Some of the characters are gone, and wouldn't fit the more lighthearted tone.
-The characters that are fetish deities are now just regular living-beings, although they're still based off of respective fetishes. Characters like Yona are still like some deity, though, although kind of like the usual ones you see in mythology.
-Paraphillia is now more tolerant to the fetishes the characters are modeled off of. Back then, most of the fetishes I'm not interested in or dislike were intended to be killed off in the original Paraphillia. For example, the paw fetish persona was going to be killed off by the gore fetish persona near the end. Of course, the lighthearted tone of the current Paraphillia wouldn't allow that (maybe) and I am more tolerant to certain types now, shown with Vitnor, who's based off of the paw fetish and is a sorta positive character in my view.
-Arima is now a shyer woman when it comes to fetishism.
-Arima's weapons are gone.
-Gale never learned to inflate himself.
-Gale doesn't have a brother.
-The queen of Paraphillia became Fregata, who's more-or-less a heir.
-The king is now a bird named Windgate, who had a different role in the original story.

Gale and Arima look at utter confusion on how those two look just like them. Funny enough, Gale and Arima overall look brighter than their original counterparts.

On a related note, Net, Lawana, and Tallulah are basically in a bit of a limbo on whether I should keep them in or not. If I keep them, I might change their backstory. Should I keep them in or not?
