Karasu-no-Yami — Say NO To Cosmetic Testing

Description Cosmetic testing is not required by law to test on animals. It's appalling. There is no reason for people to be testing the cosmetics on animals. Why should they suffer for our vanity? They shouldn't have to.

NOTE: This is the very first moving stamp that I have ever made

Aren't there different options for testing that don't involve the suffering of animals?

Yes, you can see here:

Vivisecting and Animal ExperimentationVivisection: the practice of performing operations on live animals for the purpose of experimentation or scientific research
Vivisecting has been around for centuries, but has gotten more widespread and cruel in the last couple of centuries. With the progression into modern science, medicine, and experimentation, the need to learn new things in order to ever progress is important. But at what cost must these experiments must be performed and are they actually helping at this point?
While performing non-lethal and non-painful tests are practiced often, yield informative results, and are morally right, vivisecting is anything but. With vivisecting animals are routinely cut open, receive head injuries, suffocated, locked away, deprived of food, oxygen, and water, taken away from their mothers, electrocuted, and have other inhumane practices performed on them. Most of these studies aren't even relevant to medicine, but rather testing cosmetics, unnecessary repeated experiments, and attachi

Whoever supports Cosmetic Testing should have toilet paper shoved down their throats and then choked endlessly.

I agree. Medical tesing is unfortante for the animals, but a neccary evil. Cosmetic testing is not.

I agree. Cosmetics aren't used by many and they're not important like medicine.

Yet it helps humans. Many cures for cancer, AIDS, diabetes etc are tested on animals.

Actually, that's not true at all. Here, you can read why here:

Animal testing is cruel. I hate it. Im glad someone, of the billion of people on earth, actually CARES about stopping this nonsense. Animal testing is cruel, inhumane, unneccisary, and extra cruel(yes i put extra so people wont say i put cruel twice).

Oh, but it makes you a terrorist to be against animal testing. What about all the humans that will die due to animal testing? Don't you care about the cute little humans?

...Sometimes people act like being against animal testing makes you a terrorist, yet being against saving animals makes you Jesus.

But seriously, for medicine it's necessary. But cosmetic testing is wrong, in my opinion.

Karasu-no-Yami In reply to MugoUrth [2013-01-11 18:35:35 +0000 UTC]

It depends on what they're doing testing for. Certain medical testing on animals is unnecessary, but some is.

I also don't think it's right to test weight-loss drugs on animals, because for the most part, all weight loss drugs are quackery.

Uh exuse me, but how it so people are testing cosmetics on animals in the first place?I mean, how exactly happens and its useful?!They are putting eye shadows on cats and lipstick to a dogs?
Otherwise I am againts that too.

hollyholden In reply to 1000yearseternalmaze [2013-10-11 11:49:52 +0000 UTC]

They force them to eat it and rub it in their eyes and genitals, they also cut the animals to see how it reacts in an open wound. The idea is to make sure it's safer for people, but we have so many ingredients we already know are safe that it's just unnecessary.
