So, this month I met a Suzaku RPer on tumblr who is amazingly in character. She explains it as having a voice in her head that sounds like Suzaku, and it is like having his sadistic self in the back of her head.
In any case, if you have been watching me long enough you know I consider Suzaku as my Master. So I asked him if I could call him that, and he replied that I must create him something to prove my worth.
I asked if he had anything in particular in mind, and he responded with "Draw me in whatever light you see me in your mind. When you think of me, what comes to mind?\"

I instantly had this image in my head.

Suzaku is an intimidating demon, who gives off malice as easily as breathing. He is cold, heartless, and demands respect and submission. He loves luxury and fine things, and has an ingrained elegance. Your worth is judged by how useful you can be to him, and once your use runs out you are expendable.

The malice I showed through the purple miasma coming off him. Looks a bit more Inuyasha than YYH in that respect, but that was what I envisioned.
This was one of the few artworks that seemed to pull itself together with a minimum of mistakes and problems. Overall I am very pleased with it, especially how the lighting turned out.

Surprisingly enough, that intimidating throne of his didn't give me as much problems as I thought it would.
and the red wine turned out beautifully.

Hopefully Master Suzaku is as pleased with it as I am
