Beautiful! The bold, pink hues contrast well against the more muted greens. It's a very eye-catching plant!

It is! Now banned as an invasive species, but stunning anyway!

That's a shame, though admittedly many invasive species are really beautiful, like this one!

Invasive? Is this the dwarf variety? They use them frequently in landscaping here. Mine has yet to turn.

Thanks..I checked out the site. I admit when I purchased my Dwarf Burning Bush I didn't realize the Dwarf part referred to leaf size. The fall color was a disappointment too. Might be my choice of location, kind of shady. I've seen others that look great. I haven't noticed it being invasive at all. Either the site greatly exaggerated or maybe it likes a cooler climate...dunno.

Yeah, these are at the edge of a parking lot, so cannot spread forward, and behind the yews behind them is banking too steep for anything but ground cover to root - vinca covers that!

Yes, yours looks like the dwarf version, mine the normal kind!My great aunt's house - which we bought from her when she went in the nursing home, and lived in for 14 years, had vince accidentally purloined from Mount Vernon, which I always throughout was cool!
