How long did it take you to make? And did you use a pattern?

I made my own pattern. I spread it out over several evenings so I'm not sure how long it took. I did it while I was watching TV xD

Because everything comes out well if you make it well watching t.v. I'm speaking from experience here XD
It's really awesome though. Maybe I just have no creativity, but I wouldn't have been able to even think about doing something like that.
