This is a project I did for Jaime Jone's excellent class at the Concept Design Academy.Β*edit June 15*
I worked on the rendering and color a bit and uploaded a larger file.

Thanks! This started as an unrelated sketch as I was working on some concepts based on Clive Barker's Abarat. The creatures in those novels are very elaborate and made me want to explore my own idea.
