I was never a fan of the doctor, but getting his ending was interesting to say the least. I liked Anghel's (shhhhh!) ending a lot. Sakuya and Yuuya are adorable, as is Coo, I mean Oko-san. I don't like Nageki's human form much but he's cute I guess. Not a fan. I don't like the doctor at all but his human form is good looking. I loved this game played through the entire thing and am blown away.

Reading into these comments a little and finding out that most go for the doctor to be honest.
I would go for the best friend first because of an already good and structured friendship. I just love those.
That or I would go for Sakuya the snobbish type just to see if he does haveΒ a good nature and to see him react hilariously to Peasant life.

I know people are freaking out about Shuu's end, but it wasn't really a surprise to me. The game gives you several hints about the doctors, "true nature" so to speak, and it's up to the player to decide whether or not to actually heed them. Of course, this is what happens when you decide to ignore all warnings given. It isn't really that bad, in my opinion. At least the doctor cares enough to keep a part of you intact, and he did promise to examine you "intimately". He could have just cut you up and thrown you into a trash bin. I actually thought this ending was somewhat beautiful, in a way. I actually love yandere characters, especially when they are violent, or when they act normal at first, but then slowly allow their true colors to show.

Kind of a Dark Beauty, really...
Kinda reminds me of the ending to Black Butler, granted shows with dark endings seem bad and terrible it's just a very bitter sweet moment really.

Mmmm, yes, very similar to Black Butler in that sense. You can't really blame Sebastian... he is a soul devouring demon, and as such, he must do what must be done to satisfy his hunger.
Granted, Shuu doesn't really have a reason for what he does, other than the desire to come up with and complete experiments to further scientific knowledge. But like Sebastian, there are certain situations where Shuu becomes almost... dare I say it... affectionate.

Yeah, have you ever done the Hatoful Boyfriend Holiday Star Game it shows near the end the relationship between Shuu and his [I guess] boss. Very interesting kinda reminded me of a friendship I once treasured.

By the way just a query have you seen DavidXNewton they do a lot of Hatoful Boyfriend gameplays and are very talented voice actors not to mention funny.
