Hi guys ! Today I introduce you to my best work yet ! It's been so great to work on this and i am really proud of the result ! I hope you are also going to like it !This is a commission from that I painted for Mermaid Katy and Captain Bill
It shows Katy's daughters, Mermaids Alcyone, Electra & Maia, swimming with Electra's Dolphin friends in the waters of their new home at L'île de Neráida in the South Pacific.

I tought about that but i felt like the style of the picture over all wouldn't allow it , it would be a very realistic effect when the picture overall couldn't match that style . I also found that the colors were too strong . But maybe i will try it on my future underwater pieces . Just to see how it looks . Thank you for the wonderful feedback ! Have an amazing day !

I understand but think in a different way. For me, realistic style is about adding small details. But if we talk about effects or colors, is suitable for this style. Still, just my opinion...

I do understand what you are saying with the details , but i think you should first add realistic details to the scketch , to have realistic proportions and perspectives , then to the lining , then to the color and just after all those are realistic you can work on effects . But is more a matter of taste if you think about it . I wasn't really aiming to make this one realistic . But i value your opinion and it seems like something i could really experiment with in the future
