Who's white knighting again? Sorry, but you're not even the artist. The artist is doing the smart thing and obviously staying out of the sexism bullcrap, while you perpetuate it trying to force people not to comment. sanfranguy makes an errant comment, and this decently humorous TF2 joke has to blow up into a bigotry debate over the 'battle of the sexes' You may have the right to 'aggressively disagree', but he's a right to his comment as well. Point of the matter is, why perpetuate an an argument and breed anger? Especially when the picture is meant to inspire levity and humor? It's backwards as hell.
The picture IS sexist. It's meant to be. Either the man has to save the woman, or the woman has to save the man. Neither of them is viewed as an equal, and the humor is seen in the way the sexism works in reverse; a man who wants to the be the hero, and make a good impression on a lady, is outdone by the lady herself and the roles are reversed. It's a classic sort of joke that should not inspire this amount of aggression. Where does yours even come from?
