Thanks very much! I just went to check out your webpage. I love so many of your images...I love vintage. I went a bit nuts faving so many of your works. I have a lot of old photos. You've inspired me to get creative and experiment with some of them. I also read your journal. I was really sorry to hear that you got a bit burnt out. I guess it can happen when you get too popular, and get too many messages. You just have to cut yourself a break, or else it can get pretty stressing.

Oh that's great that you have alot of old photos too! You should try restoring them, I bet you would do a great job too!
I've been doing DA and my restorations/manips for over 5 years now and I guess it got old. But I will still be uploading from time to time, just disabling comments for the time being. Not sure I consider myself real popular but I do have many friends/supporters.

Yes, one particular favorite is one of my dad as a little boy in a sailor outfit. Just lovely! I love anything vintage...photos, cars, music...!
Photo restauration is a wonderful skill to have. My daughter, who is now 24, liivng in Germany, is very skilled at photoshop restoration. I'm not quite as good with photoshop, but have learned lots over the years. I like how you've added colour and manipulated some of the old sepia images...You did a lovely job. Very creative and beautiful.

Yes, my daughter submits to DA. She is an illustrator, she only did the photo-restauration for family members but is quite skilled with photoshop and illustrator. She doesn't have her best work on DA, because, she claims she would rather spend her limited time on her other website.
