I would guess they are... I was never a big fan either until recently, not that I make them, but I do like looking at most of them... I think spirals have gotten better over time... they used to be rather plain, but lately I have seen so many really nice ones

I just love how with Fractal Explorer i can keep zooming on and on for hours. found 2 spirals circling around each other. i was like "this is so badass" haha.

yes, it sounds cool... I tried FE a long long time ago before I really understood fractals, and couldn't get anything good with it...
