Description

Camera: Polaroid: Spectra SE
Film: 1200
Location: South Point, HI

Ohh my... this was great. I didn't really set up the shot, but I had an idea of them glorious in the some what washed out grass. One of them made a funny joke and it projected the perfect moment of bliss.

South Point, hell yeah!
I came across an old comment conversation on my page ( here: [link] ) from years ago, it must have been. I was on the big isle, Honoka'a-based, and came across your work. Glad to see you're still taking polaroids (did you hear - Polaroid has succumbed to demand and is relaunching some classic polaroid cameras next year, and this other organization, The Impossible Project, is remaking polaroid film, since they ended production and all) and that you have been traveling around Europe with your camera, apparently! Maybe I will run into you sometime, if you are on the island. Good work.

Hi there!

I have not been taking as many photos lately, too busy with work. But I am getting back into the swing of things. I did hear about the impossible project. And while in Oregon last week I stopped into urban outfitters and saw they had polaroid film for sale. There is still a demand for it, even if it is small. When there is a demand, there is always a supplier.

I'm sure we'll see each other sometime, it is a small world after all.

reminds me of that Sting song "as we walked in fields of gold".
Nice shot. I've always thought it would be cool to be swallowed in a field like that.
Good job.

Interesting you mention that 'perfect moment of bliss', as my first reaction upon seeing that was along those lines.

This makes me ache for the freedom of carefree summer.

When I think about it... that was the first time in along time that I actually was able to just relax, focus on one thing. I was totally taken away by this place, I've lived here all my life and I had never been. If you ever come out here for some reason we'll go down there. You could shoot for hours on end.

I totally know what you're getting at.

If I'm out your way, consider it a given that I'd go and shoot with you, man (your part of the world is one I'd love to visit.

Whilst we're on the subject, I
if you're ever over Scotland way, just give me a headsup and we'll hook up.
