3 round burst revolver seems impossible. Unless it is caseless, but even though it's caseless, it would destroy the revolver.

It's a metal storm gun, it operates similarly, although that makes one question the need for it to be a revolver in the first place.

The way it's represented is highly unrealistic with the hammer striking 3 times for no reason.

This is as far as a metal storm pistol ever went. In order to reload, the barrels are replaced. I do not know the fire rate for this particular gun, but metal storm stuff tended to have absurdly high fire rates.

That was just for the 36-barrel prototype,Ā I'm pretty sure they only did that to prove that they could.
Furthermore the fire rate was just 27.777 RPM per barrel.
