Description
This was actually a picture that serves a few purposes.1.) It is a christmas give for el GM.
2.) I am working towards an art book I think. Long ways down the line, but any pic I do with Sky's End, it'll be very labor intensive.
3.) I get to practice with colors I hate to use. Whee!

Actually, you happen to be correct! Way back in the day my art teacher threw out all the black colored pencils and paint in class, and demanded that we 'create' our own black. I got so used to it, and I always thought it looked better...
so one can imagine what switching back to straight black markers would do to the mind.
The white...the white is a tricky subject. It's difficult in the blending aspect, since you don't really have a white marker...

lol, that's true! I've been using the lightest Blue, and 10% gery for my whites... and of course the natural color of the paper...

Wow. Just wow. The coloring is :fantastic:. The blending is so smooth and perfect! And the concept, which could easily suck, was pulled off very well. (Sorry to sound like an ass, I really don't think you are capable of sucking, just that other people would, given that type of composition).

Thanks! Yeah, it was really hard to do, cause they're pretty much the same size, but ones a guy and one's a girl, and its a very cliche kinda thing....
yet somehow it came all together!

BUT! To answer the question - I used Copic markers! And a single white colored pencil for detail.
