Description
This shot was taken in Wildwood NJ.There is a port near by and they were shipping out the next day to go over seas and then to another destination that was unknown to them. This was there last day to call family and friends.
It Stops Time because it is there last day to be safe and on US soil.

It reminds me of being overseas and getting that chance stop in port where I can make a couple of phone calls home before getting back to work . . . This is a great photo, perfect moment and composition. Great work.

Thats the coolest! Great for the world today. I love the fair going on in the back. Wow i really like this. So much meaning. So great in black and white. It really speaks to me, I don't know why. I guess it's cause so many army and navy men die. Especially with the Iraq stuff thats been going in, this fits in so well. It's like, a glimpse at their more human side. Great job

Thankyou! Yea while I was down in NJ doing stuff for my carnival series there were tons of navy men everywhere on every pay phone. So I thought to capture the moment! It seemed right!
