Description
This piece was done forI spent SO MUCH TIME on this picture, but you know what? I think it was totally worth it. I just really had the urge to do something different from my usual style. I had been wanting to try out this nice, wild looking version of umbreon and when the opportunity came I jumped on it!

Shiny Umbreon is pretty awesome. I really like the way this one turned out. My opinion on Sylveon, since you asked, is that its really cute and I can't wait to do some fan art of it! I can't tell what type it is... However, my favorite of the new pokemon is Helioptile. Its possibly one of my new top favorites, actually.

and apparently Sylveon is a new type called Fairy type, which several places leaked(one of which correctly leaked the new four pokemon names in february).

Fairy type? I think a lot of older pokemon would fall under that category. Like Clefairy for example.

yeah, i think it makes sense too, but some people just dont like change i guess(it's been getting a lot of hate, even though it isnt actually fully confirmed yet)

As of today I am still pregnant, yep. I really want to see what he looks like! I'm one of those people that has a hard time not peeking at my christmas gifts, so this is driving me nuts, haha!
I get that people don't like change- but a new type means new moves and new twists on the strategy of the game, so I'm not going to complain.

fingers crossed the process starts soon then, and that he comes out healty
and yeah, i've been wanting a full strategic change since gen 4, hopefully the new type somehow balances out the starters better, since grass types have way more weaknesses than water and fire, with water beating fire by 1 thing(meaning the water starter is overpowered)

Same here! He's definitely getting close- walking is so awkward when you have a baby's head between your leg joints 
I think it will be fun. It's not like they haven't brought out new types before anyway. Steel and Dark weren't original types. I nearly always start with the grass type, lol. I think its because they can learn HP stealing moves, so even though they may have a disadvantage in most respects I think it makes up for it.

i'm kind of hoping he holds on to the 5th (18th anniversary of the ending of Dragon Ball)
makes sense about the HP stealing moves, but, Grass is weak to 5 types, while water is only weak to 2, and fire 3

I know grass has a lot more weaknesses but for some reason its always been my favorite type. Probably because of all the caves and water travel one does in pokemon adventures.
