Description I wanted to try and draw 3 different types of unicorns. A mountain unicorn with a thick fluffy coat and a more sturdy body. An Alicorn and a normal unicorn. I'm very happy with how the horns and hair have turned out on all three of them. Hair, wings and fur are some of my favorite things to draw.

This is the second drawing I have done with the portable light table I received for my birthday and I have to say I love it. I have a habit of drawing pretty messy and too dark and I hated the faded pencil lines I used to get. So being able to draw as messy as I want with the first piece then just go over it on a fresh page with my inking pens its pretty amazing. Its so easy. I have no fear of correcting mistakes since I know the final product with be able to as clean as I want it to be.Β Β

Thank you! Yep, that one did take quite a while. Sadly not everything I do gets to be so pretty, haha.
I do really appreciate detailed pen art. If you don't mind me asking, what kind of paper did you use with this?

I just use a plain 11x14 paper in a Strathmore Sketchpad. Nothing fancy.Β

Gotcha, thanks! (I normally just default to bristol board without exploring around much so I was wondering what would work nice with a light table. Sounds like a really useful thing to have.)

The light table come from amazon. I think it was about $50? It was so worth it. I love being able to draw the rough draft as messy as I please lol

I see, might have to look into that. I'm a messy sketcher too and for some reason I'm always lacking good erasers. Heck, maybe I could even try traditional animation a bit...
